The annual general meeting of Dying with Dignity ACT was held on Thursday 16 April 2026.
The meeting elected the following Committee members:

After the formal part of the meeting, we were fortunate to hear from Darlene Cox, in her capacity as chair of the ACT Voluntary Assisted Dying Oversight Board. The Oversight Board advises the Minister for Health on the improvement of processes and safeguards for the VAD scheme, so the Board is keen to hear any feedback about how the VAD process is working. It was noted that community groups such as DWDACT had an important role to play in pressing for improvements to the scheme.
