How 20 years has changed the debate over assisted suicide

The Canadian federal government will argue in front of the B.C. Court of Appeal later this month that the ban on assisted suicide should remain in place. In Québec, the Parti Québécois government has pledged to introduce before next summer death with dignity legislation as a way to circumvent the Criminal Code.
