I have a friend in Canberra Hospital now. Her daughter had Power of Attorney that was not good enough and didn’t apply because even though her mother was awake she was unable to talk or write. Her daughter had to go to Court to get guardianship so she could put her mum in a care. So be aware after a month in hospital and they say she is not acute { even though she is having brain seizures } the hospital is charging $780 a fortninight.
